Welcome to wendy-harrop.com. This website is owned and operated by Wendy Harrop Events LLC (“Wendy Harrop,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By accessing this website, purchasing a product or service, registering for an event, participating in a program, or booking a journey through Wendy Harrop Events LLC, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. About Wendy Harrop Events LLC
Wendy Harrop Events LLC offers experiences and services that may include coaching, workshops, retreats, educational programs, digital content, events, and curated travel experiences (“Bespoke Journeys”).
Specific offerings may have additional terms, booking agreements, waivers, or cancellation policies. When additional terms are provided for a particular service or experience, those terms are incorporated into these Terms & Conditions and will govern that specific purchase where they differ from these general terms.
2. Website Use
The content on this website is provided for general informational, educational, and inspirational purposes.
You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe upon the rights of, restrict, or interfere with the use of this website by another person.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any portion of this website at any time.
3. Coaching, Workshops & Educational Content
Coaching, workshops, podcast content, programs, and other educational materials offered by Wendy Harrop are intended to support personal reflection, growth, decision-making, and exploration.
They are not a substitute for medical, mental health, legal, tax, financial, or other licensed professional advice.
Your participation in coaching or educational programs does not guarantee any particular personal, professional, financial, or business result. You remain responsible for your own decisions, actions, and results.
4. Bespoke Journeys & Travel Experiences
Wendy Harrop Events LLC curates and hosts small-group travel experiences in collaboration with hotels, restaurants, transportation companies, guides, artisans, chefs, schools, cultural institutions, and other independent providers.
Each Bespoke Journey has its own itinerary, inclusions, pricing, payment schedule, cancellation policy, and booking terms. These will be provided to you before or at the time of booking.
Unless specifically stated otherwise, transportation to and from the designated starting and ending location of a journey, airfare, passports, visas, travel insurance, personal purchases, and other expenses not expressly included in the itinerary are the responsibility of the traveler.
Independent Travel Providers
Many elements of a Bespoke Journey are provided by independent third parties. Wendy Harrop Events LLC carefully selects and coordinates these providers but does not own, operate, or control them.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Wendy Harrop Events LLC is not responsible for acts, omissions, delays, cancellations, schedule changes, service interruptions, accidents, losses, or other circumstances arising from services provided by independent third parties.
5. Itinerary Changes
Part of the nature of travel is that circumstances sometimes change.
We reserve the right to make reasonable substitutions or modifications to an itinerary when circumstances require it, including changes involving accommodations, restaurants, transportation, guides, activities, or other experiences.
Our intention will always be to preserve the overall quality, character, and value of the journey.
Changes may occasionally be necessary because of weather, transportation disruptions, strikes, closures, government action, safety concerns, availability, events beyond our reasonable control, or circumstances involving one of our local partners.
A reasonable itinerary change or substitution does not automatically constitute grounds for a refund.
6. Payments
Prices, deposits, payment schedules, and accepted forms of payment will be stated on the applicable sales page, invoice, booking agreement, or checkout page.
Your reservation or participation may not be confirmed until the required deposit or payment has been received.
Unless otherwise stated, all prices are shown in the currency identified for that particular offering.
Any mandatory fees charged by Wendy Harrop Events LLC will be disclosed as part of the applicable pricing information in accordance with applicable law.
7. Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellation and refund policies vary depending upon the offering.
For coaching, workshops, events, retreats, and other programs, the applicable cancellation policy will be provided at the time of purchase.
For Bespoke Journeys, the cancellation and refund terms contained in the specific booking agreement for that journey will apply.
Travel experiences involve advance commitments and payments to hotels, transportation providers, restaurants, guides, artisans, and other partners. For this reason, deposits and payments may become non-refundable according to the schedule disclosed in the applicable booking agreement.
We encourage you to review all cancellation terms carefully before making a purchase.
8. Travel Insurance
Travel involves circumstances that cannot always be anticipated or controlled.
Participants in Bespoke Journeys are strongly encouraged, and for certain journeys may be required, to purchase comprehensive travel insurance appropriate to their circumstances.
Depending upon the policy, travel insurance may provide coverage for matters such as trip cancellation or interruption, medical emergencies, emergency evacuation, lost or delayed baggage, or other travel disruptions.
Wendy Harrop Events LLC does not guarantee the coverage or payment of any insurance claim. Travelers are responsible for reviewing and understanding the terms, exclusions, and limitations of any policy they purchase.
9. Passports, Visas & Travel Requirements
Travelers are responsible for ensuring that they possess all passports, visas, identification, permissions, health documentation, and other documents required for their journey.
Travelers are also responsible for confirming that they meet the entry and exit requirements of the countries they will visit.
Wendy Harrop Events LLC may provide general information or helpful reminders, but the ultimate responsibility for satisfying travel requirements rests with the traveler.
10. Health, Mobility & Participation
Our Bespoke Journeys may include walking, stairs, uneven surfaces, historic buildings, rural locations, public transportation, extended excursions, and other activities associated with travel.
Participants are responsible for determining whether an experience is appropriate for their own circumstances and abilities.
If you have mobility needs, dietary requirements, allergies, or other considerations that may affect your participation, please let us know before booking whenever possible so that we can determine whether reasonable accommodations may be available.
We cannot guarantee that every location, activity, or independent provider will be able to accommodate every request.
11. Traveler Conduct
Our journeys and events are intentionally designed to create welcoming, respectful experiences.
We reserve the right, when reasonably necessary for the safety, wellbeing, or enjoyment of participants or our partners, to remove a participant whose behavior is threatening, abusive, dangerous, unlawful, substantially disruptive, or otherwise materially interferes with the experience.
In such circumstances, additional transportation, lodging, or other expenses incurred by the participant will be the participant's responsibility, and refunds are not guaranteed.
12. Events Beyond Our Control
Wendy Harrop Events LLC will not be responsible for failure or delay in performing obligations when circumstances beyond our reasonable control make performance impossible, unsafe, or commercially impracticable.
Such circumstances may include severe weather or natural disasters; war, terrorism, or civil unrest; epidemics or pandemics; government restrictions; strikes; transportation interruptions; border closures; acts of God; or significant failures by transportation, accommodation, or other travel providers.
When such circumstances occur, we will make reasonable efforts to communicate with affected participants and determine an appropriate course of action based upon the circumstances, supplier policies, applicable agreements, and applicable law.
13. Photography & Media
Photographs or video may occasionally be taken during Wendy Harrop Events LLC programs, retreats, workshops, and travel experiences.
Where appropriate, participants will be informed about photography or media use associated with a particular event or experience. Any separate photography or publicity consent presented for an event or journey will govern the use of identifiable participant images.
